For visitors looking for something a little different they can’t really go wrong with a German touring vacation as there is little to disappoint in the cities with their impressive architecture and historical connections. Despite the ease in which you can rent a car in Germany as with most European countries, there will probably be greater discounts if this is done before you travel.

Don’t expect every German to speak English fluently because like France, it is not their second language. This is part of the reason why it is a good idea to book your German car rental in advance as at least by doing it that way you can guarantee what vehicle you will be assigned. It’s always a good idea to calculate the driving distances you are planning as this will give you a good idea of what you will need to prepare for and also help with any other eventualities. Next, try to assess if it’s really more practical to have car rental in Germany or if it’s a better idea and cheaper to just take the mass transportation vehicles.

Take into consideration just how long intend to stay in Germany because you may find that a renting a car in Germany might not warrant to cost.
